PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double suction volute pump that is configured to prevent a partition plate for partitioning a suction chamber and a discharge chamber from being port-opened by an internal pressure.;SOLUTION: A double suction volute pump is configured such that a suction chamber 4 that sucks a working fluid, a discharge chamber 5 that accommodates an impeller for pressurizing the working fluid sucked in the suction chamber 4, and a partition plate 7 that partitions the suction chamber 4 and the discharge chamber 5 are formed in the interior of a casing 3, the casing 3 is formed by coupling and fixing an upper casing 3a forming an upper part of the casing 3 to a lower casing 3b forming a lower part thereof, and the partition plate 7 is formed by joining an upper partition plate 7a formed in the upper casing 3a and a lower partition plate 7b formed in the lower casing 3b. An upper fastening member 31a, which is inserted into a vertical hole 71 passing through the upper partition plate 7a toward the lower partition plate 7b, is screwed into a lower fastening hole 31b formed in the lower partition plate 7b so that the upper partition plate 7a is coupled and fixed to the lower partition plate 7b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
