PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for colloidal crystal capable of producing a colloidal crystal hardened film which has a high reflection peak and in which the reflection wavelength of the reflection peak is hardly affected by drying time, a colloidal crystal hardened film obtained therefrom, and a method for producing the film.;SOLUTION: A colloidal crystal composition includes a core-shell particle (A) having a core portion and a shell portion, and a monomer (B1) represented by formula (1) (wherein R₁ is hydrogen atom or methyl) in a predetermined ratio. The core portion has an average particle size of 50-900 nm, and has a refractive index satisfying a predetermined condition.
