PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To investigate selection behavior of a user by use of an ID of a card owned by the user.;SOLUTION: A method of investigating selection behavior of a user on a plurality of game machines 4 arranged in a predetermined site ST by using a game system 2A which stores play data 26 of the user on a server device 3 in association with a card ID unique to a card 9 owned by the user, causes a server device 3 to acquire the card ID from the game machine 4 to specify corresponding play data 26, and provides the specified play data 26 to the game machine 4. A card reader 50 is arranged in each of game machines 4 in the site ST. The card ID acquired by the card reader 50 is recorded in association with a code unique to each of the game machines 4. Whether the play data 26 corresponding to the card ID recorded in the site ST has been stored on the server device 3 is determined later.
