PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance system, a route guidance device, a route search server and a route guidance method, which enable a user to easily determine a traveling direction along a guidance route.SOLUTION: A route search server 30 accumulates movement locus information transmitted from a portable terminal 20 or the outside with time information in movement locus information accumulation means 35, acquires position information of the portable terminal 20 from a current time to before a predetermined time from the movement locus information storage means 35 when receiving a route search request from the portable terminal 20, creates movement locus display data according to a current location of the portable terminal 20 by movement locus display data creation means 34, and transmits the movement locus display data with the searched guidance route to the portable terminal 20. When displaying the guidance route, the portable terminal 20 can correctly guide a user having the portable terminal 20 in a traveling direction by adding the latest past movement locus of the portable terminal to the guidance route and displaying it on display means 26 on the basis of the movement locus display data.
