PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety in a loading-unloading room by performing operation after confirming that a person leaves the loading-unloading room with improved reliability.;SOLUTION: A mechanical parking device has a loading-unloading room 20 where a vehicle 12 is loaded onto a pallet 16 which is transferred to storage and a driver of the vehicle 12 can get in and out the vehicle 12. The mechanical parking device also has: a confirmation button 34 which is installed close to a safety confirmation implementation position in the loading-unloading room 20 and operated to input an implementation state of safety confirmation by a person; and a control device which performs transfer of the pallet 16 after the confirmation button 34 is operated and the driver leaves the loading-unloading room 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
