PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple document recognition system capable of easily and efficiently perform character recognition processing of a plurality of arbitrary documents, and a template for multiple document recognition and a multiple document recognition method which are used in this system.;SOLUTION: A multiple document recognition system 1 includes: image generation means 101 which generates image data representing an image of a template 10 in which region marks respectively specifying a plurality of document arrangement regions 12 where a plurality of documents 20 are to be laid out respectively are arranged, in a state of laying out the plurality of documents 20 in the template 10; document region extraction means 102 which extracts pieces of image data respectively representing the document arrangement regions 12 specified by the region marks respectively, from the image data generated by the image generation means 101; and individual document character recognition means 103 which performs character recognition processing of respective pieces of image data extracted by the document region extraction means 102 to recognize characters written in each of the plurality of documents 20 laid out in the template 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
