PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanoparticle/dispersant composite having excellent dispersibility and long-term stability in a dispersion medium, a production method therefor, and a nanoparticle dispersion liquid and a nanoparticle/matrix-material composite which are colorless and transparent even at a high concentration.;SOLUTION: In the nanoparticle/dispersant composite, a nanoparticle is covered with a dispersant having a heterocyclic cationic group, and an oxo acid group or its anion moiety having a sulfur atom or a phosphorus atom. In the nanoparticle/matrix-material composite, the nanoparticle/dispersant composite is dispersed into a matrix material.
