Novelty: a polyurethane-spreading mechanism operating via dry air supply and serving for the adhesion of self-adhesive tapes covering the edges of wood structures is disclosed. Constitution: a polyurethane-containing recipient (1) bearing the cap (2) which is sealed via the retaining arrangement (3) composed of the screws (4) holding the cap with nuts (5). At the top of said recipient exists an opening (6) provided with a nozzle destined for the dry air ingress. In parallel, in the interior of the above polyurethane recipient exists a circular heating element (10) and an inclined accessory (12) with grooves conducting the liquid polyurethane to the spreading arrangement (9), which arrangement is adapted to the greater aperture (7) via screws (8) and composed of the polyurethane-spreading roller (13) turning via the electromotor (14). A cylindrical heating element is placed on the upper part of the above mechanism to keep polyurethane at the suitable temperature. Finally, at the lower part of the polyurethane-spreading arrangement (9) exists the guide (16) ensuring the smooth passage of the self-adhesive tape from the polyurethane-spreading roller.
