Disclosed is a method for preparing nanoparticles of acrylic copolymers accepted for human consumption, which are water soluble according to the pH, with average diameters lower than 50nm, which may be charged with active principles for medical and nutraceutical applications, including the following steps: a) preparing an aqueous solution of a surfactant and an initiator; b) dosing the mixture of monomers and the active principle (s) dissolved therein over the aqueous solution, at a predetermined flow that enables operations under monomer avidity conditions; c) providing an additional reaction time at the end of the dosing period; d) recovering the nanoparticles empty or charged with the active principle by lyophilisation or by spraying.
