The present disclosure is related to an evaluation and diagnosis system for balance problems in humans which operates through the head movements of a subject under study, comprising a data acquisition unit from which it is possible on one hand, stimulate head movements of a subject under study, and on the other hand, collect the generated information for further analysis; and an information processing unit in which, by implementing an identification algorithm, it is possible to determine the resulting displacements in a vertical position of the head of a subject under study when the subject is subjected to a stimulus-response process, to thereby being able to assess the stability of the subject and also refers to a method for the application of the proposed system.
