The present disclosure is related to a cockroach killer bait, composed of an adhesive organic matrix which acts as a result of their instinctive grooming and preening and also to a system for controlling cockroaches; which comprises a set of devices with three dimensional geometrical shapes that serve as an interior passage for the cockroaches to go in and out; inside of which the cockroach killer bait, composed of an adhesive organic matrix has been placed. The cockroaches with the hairiness of their legs lift and take to their mouth the active ingredient by effect of their instinctive grooming and preening. When said compound enters their organism, detonates brain reactions and causes the death of the insect. The domino effect is possible because the insect’s ethology implies coprophilia, emetophilia, cannibalism, preening and overcrowding by the individuals in a colony of insects.
