The foundation structure includes a frame (2) which provides the main static load-bearing capacity of a slab (1) to be arranged on a ground surface. A self-supporting insulator (3) with an insulating material provides the main insulating capacity of the slab. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a building; (B) a foundation structure construction method; and (C) a building construction method.
