METHOD FOR VAGUS STIMULATION IN PATIENTS WITH SEVERE DIABETIC GASTROPARESIS

The method for vagus stimulation in the patients with severe slowing of motor-evacuation function of the stomach provides for the treatment algorithms for diabetic gastroparesis applying the individual treatment regimens with a daily intake of antidiabetic drugs and three-month course of pathogenetic therapy: alpha lipoic acid 600 mg/day and Benfotiamin 300 mg/day in combination with five sessions of acupuncture, enhanced with laser light of red visible spectrum for two weeks.
