The invention relates to a mobile machine (1) for drying grain (2), comprising a first carriage (4), means for moving the first carriage in at least two orthogonal directions, and means for controlling the first carriage (4). The first carriage (4) comprises injectors (5), air compression means, and means for heating the compressed air. The invention also relates to a method for drying grain (2) using the mobile machine (1) for drying grain (2), said method comprising the following steps: loading the grain (2); activating the horizontal movement (19) of the first carriage (4) in order to form the bed (16); activating the air supply means and the means for raising the temperature of the air; adjusting the height (18) of the injectors (5); and moving (19) the first carriage (4) horizontally in order to dry the grain (2); aerating the grain (2); and placing the first carriage (4) on standby.
