Magnetic reading device comprising: a magnetic reading head (71; 81) comprising a first magnetic circuit (40) that supplies, to the terminals of a first conductor winding (45), a signal (VOUT) representative of the variations magnetic flux at a first distance (d1) from a front face of the head; and a second magnetic circuit (70) that supplies, at the terminals of a second conductor winding (75) connected in phase opposition to the first winding, a signal (VB) representative of the magnetic flux variations at a second distance (d2) , greater than the first distance, from the front face of the head, characterized in that the second magnetic circuit (70) is devoid of magnetic core.
