Provided are methods for assessing the susceptibility of a subject to thedevelopment ofcardiotoxicity in response to receiving one or more anthracycline compounds,the methodincluding determining the presence or absence of one or more polymorphisms,wherein thepresence or absence of one or more such polymorphisms is indicative ofsusceptibility to thedevelopment of cardiotoxicity.
