A ladder tape and a method of making the ladder tape are disclosed in thepresentinvention, wherein, by using a knitting technique, at least two warps and atleast one weftgenerate a knitting structure with chains on a front surface of a first bandand a secondband, which have the same width, and generate threading segments on a rearsurface ofeach of the bands to bind the weft. Whereby, the resultant knitting structurehas nodiscontinuous opaque shades, and the problem of unwanted light leakage can beavoidedas well.
