Disclosed are a course teaching system and an operation method for the course teaching system. The operation method comprises: according to course progress information, determining course teaching information and test question information corresponding to the course teaching information (S101); providing the course teaching information and the test question information to a user (S103); and in the case where answer information about the user regarding the test question information is received, saving the answer information (S105). By means of providing course teaching information conforming to a current learning progress for a user, and proving corresponding test question information for the user according to the key point and difficulty of the course teaching information, the user can be trained in a targeted manner for learned knowledge to consolidate the learned knowledge, thereby improving the quality of course teaching. In addition, by means of saving answer information about the user regarding the test question information, real-time recording of the learning process of the user is further realized, thereby improving user experience in course learning.
