The invention relates to a method of preparing a hybrid publication, a device and a hybrid publication according to said method, which can be used in the field of publishing and publications. The present method comprises creating at least one file containing published information, and recording the file in a read-only memory of a specialized playback device. The present device consists of a power supply unit (7), a processor (1) connected to one or more modules of a random-access memory (2), a built-in read-only memory (3) accessible only to the device, at least one controller (4), at least one display (5) and a control module (6), which are mounted in a housing (8), and additional elements according to variant embodiments. The present hybrid publication consists of at least one file containing published information, which is recorded in the read-only memory (3) of a specialized playback device. The main advantages are an increase in the protection of author rights with respect to a publication, the provision of identifying information and other information about the publication, and the possibility of using electronic textbooks and manuals in the teaching process.
