The present invention relates to a method for regulating expression of interferon-gamma by using indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase, to a dentritic cell regulated with expression of interferon-gamma manufactured by the method, and to a composition for regulating expression of interferon-gamma comprising a cell therapy product containing the dendritic cell as an active ingredient and a recombinant vector containing a gene for encoding IDO protein as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the method can be broadly used for immunity control or treatment of inflammation caused by bacterial infection by using a method with increased expression of interferon-gamma.
