Disclosed are a multi-screen system, an image division server and an image division method thereof, a divided image terminal, and a method for controlling a multi-screen. According to the present invention, the multi-screen system comprises: an image division server for dividing a screen of an original image into a plurality of layouts, and processing the divided images corresponding to each layout based on the original image; and a plurality of divided image terminals corresponding to each layout divided by the image division server, receiving the divided images corresponding to each layout from the image division server, setting a play start time point of each divided images based on a standby time on a mutual network, and controlling a plurality of displays, configuring the multi-screen, to be synchronized so as to play the divided images based on the set play start time point.
