Disclosed are a multi-screen system, an image division server and an image division method thereof, a divided image terminal, and a method for controlling a multi-screen. According to the present invention, the multi-screen system comprises: an image division server for dividing a screen of an original image into a plurality of layouts, and processing the divided images corresponding to each layout based on the original image; and a plurality of divided image terminals corresponding to each layout divided by the image division server, receiving the divided images corresponding to each layout from the image division server, setting a play start time point of each divided images based on a standby time on a mutual network, and controlling a plurality of displays, configuring the multi-screen, to be synchronized so as to play the divided images based on the set play start time point. Herein, each of the divided image terminals measures the standby time on the network with respect to a master in a group of the divided image terminals, and controls each display to play the divided images based on the measured standby time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
