The present invention relates to a method for controlling a camera dolly with an automatic navigation system embedded therein using a smartphone. The smartphone and the camera dolly operate as a client and a server, respectively, and perform Wi-Fi communication. The smartphone has a user interface program to control a movement of the camera dolly via communication with the camera dolly. A much more intuitive control technique than a previous system is provided. A smartphone application is easily linked for editing, storing, and playing.
