The present invention relates to a mining robot for manganese nodules, comprising: a body in which an engine, a motor, a hydraulic pump, and a controller are installed; a driving device part placed on a bottom of the body; and a mining device part installed in a side of the body. The body is formed with a structure wherein a plurality of sealing steel boxes, including a plurality of insertion holes to deliver oil pressure from the hydraulic pump to the mining device part and the driving device part, are combined with a lower surface of the body. A plurality of reinforcement rods are combined between the sealing steel boxes. As such, the present invention is capable of preventing damage caused by high water pressure from the sea bottom.
