The present invention relates to a method of applying a dependent examination to a priority examination in a health examination system, to apply a process which establishes a feature field according to database configuration and calculate examination costs based on examination items. The database configuration is for steps of: separating and constructing an examination price by each priority and dependent examination type, separating and constructing an examination item by each priority and dependent examination type, and constructing an examination item cost of each applied examination item by each priority and dependent examination type. Thus, the present invention is to provide a process and a method capable of calculating a correct examination price, and recalculating an examination price due to cancelation of a part of examination items based on database. Also, civil complaints about an over, under and duplicated charge of an examination price occurring in an examination institution are reduced. According to the present invention, the method comprises the following steps: identifying a priority examination type code; identifying a dependent examination type code; identifying applied examination items; generating information for an examination reception database; and generating information for an examination reception cost database.
