NATURAL ADHESIVE FOR DANCHEONG HAVING JAPANESE ELM LIQUID, LAQUER, AND GLUE ARE MIXED THEREIN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a natural adhesive for dancheong (traditional multicolored paintwork on a wooden building) in which Japanese elm liquid, lacquer, and glue are mixed therein, and to a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the natural adhesive for dancheong is manufactured by the following steps: manufacturing the Japanese elm liquid by placing Japanese elm bark and water in a provided container at a weight ratio of 1:20, boiling the same for 20-60 minutes, pouring the boiling water into a filter, and filtering the Japanese elm bark and residue; forming a mixture by mixing the Japanese elm liquid and the lacquer at a weight ratio of 5:5; and mixing the glue with the mixture at a weight ratio of 7:3. Accordingly, the natural adhesive of the present invention is an useful invention which: maintains individual characteristics of the Japanese elm liquid and lacquer by mixing the same with a common glue; maximizes viscosity, waterproof and dampproof effects, and a suppression ratio against moisture and bacterial growth by being completed after being mixed, thereby being able to increase economical efficiency; and reduces cracks of a building and decomposition running speed after a dancheong work through optimal mixing ratios for the effects, thereby not requiring continuous maintenance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
