The present invention relates to an electronic device. Examples of such electronic devices include optical detectors, laser diodes, field quenching devices, optical amplifiers, organic solar cells or light emitting diodes. The electronic device includes a cathode and an anode. One of the two electrodes is fully or partially light transmissive. Between these two electrodes is at least one organic semiconductor layer and another organic buffer layer. The buffer layer may be similar to the organic semiconductor layer. The solution is sprayed to apply the porous buffer layer. The solution preferably comprises a polar solvent and / or an electrically conductive additive. In addition, the solution comprises a nonpolar solvent and an organic material dissolved in the nonpolar solvent. In one embodiment, the solution to be sprayed is sprayed by an electric field. When a polar solvent which easily dissolves an organic substance is used, the non-polar solvent may be omitted. In this specification it is important that the materials used to produce the buffer layer can be efficiently atomized.
