Disclosed are a service system and a method capable of collecting a smartphone use history by using a smartphone-optimized application, recommending an application proper to a user, and providing a reward based research service. The service system comprises: a collecting unit and an analyzing unit. The collecting unit is installed in a terminal, and collects use history information provided by the terminal by the control of the optimized application which is automatically operated in the terminal for at least one among security reinforcement and performance optimization of the terminal.
