The present invention relates to a method for providing travel information and securing traveler safety, and more particularly, to a method for securing traveler safety during a travel as well as providing travel information to the traveler. One embodiment of the present invention includes: a travel schedule registration step for receiving registration of lodging date and lodging companies by receiving a selected travel place from the traveler; a travel schedule display step for displaying a registered travel schedule in a schedule order; a traveler lodging check step for checking whether a traveler′s terminal is located or not within a predetermined range from the lodging company registered to the schedule date; a lodging safety checking step for checking whether the traveler safely lodges or not in the registered lodging company when the traveler′s terminal is out of the predetermined range from the registered lodging company; and a step for transmitting a lodging safety check request message to one or more among an owner of the registered lodging company, a police center server, servers of a diplomatic department of a traveler′s county and a traveling country and an administrator terminal if it is determined that a lodging risk of the traveler is high.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
