SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SLIDE IMAGE ENHANCEMENTS IN LECTURE VIDEOS

The objective of the present invention is to provide a system for improving the slide image quality in a video lecture capable of improving the image quality of slides by processing the images after finding the area of the slides in a video lecture where the reading of the slides is difficult or composing the images of original slides and a method thereof. The system includes: an area recognition unit which recognizes the slide area in a pre-stored video lecture; a slide matching unit which searches for a matched original slide by comparing the slide area recognized by the area recognition unit and pre-stored original slides; an image conversion unit which converts the original slide found by the slide matching unit into an image to be added in the slide area in the video lecture; a page-over recognition unit which recognizes the point of time when the slide page is turned over in the video lecture; and an image composing unit which at the point of time when the slide page is turned over composes a slide image corresponding to the slide in the video lecture among images converted by the image conversion unit into the slide area in the video lecture to output the video lecture with the improved slide image quality.
