The present invention relates to a system for managing destruction of an electronic document or a printed document. The system for managing destruction of an electronic document or a printed document comprises an agent, a management server, and a multi-function device. When a user prints an electronic document or copies, scans, or faxes a paper document by using the multi-function device, the agent generates print log information, unique information corresponding the electronic document, and a recognition code and transmits the print log information, the unique information, and the recognition code to the management server, the multi-function device transmits multi-function device log information, including an image of the copied, scanned, or faxed paper document, to the management server, and the management server allows the recognition code to be included and printed and manages a version of the document by using the print log information, the unique information, the recognition code, and the multi-function device log information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
