A system for designing essential grammar items for a Chinese learner according to the present invention, comprises: a vocabulary processing unit detecting the frequency of vocabularies by analyzing corpora of interlanguage of a Chinese learner and selecting vocabularies mentioned in the corpora of a Chinese speaker, among the vocabularies, as essential grammar items; a control unit classifying the selected vocabularies by parts of speech and rating the grade of each vocabulary based on the frequency; a structure analyzing unit classifying idiomatic constructions comprising the selected vocabularies by parts of speech and rating the grade of the vocabularies based on the frequency of the idiomatic constructions; and a situation selecting unit rating the grade of each selected vocabulary by situations. The control unit readjusts the grade of vocabularies classified by each part of speech using the grade rated by the frequency of the vocabularies and the grade rated by the frequency of the idiomatic constructions.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
