Colloidal inorganic semiconductor nanocrystals are transferred from organic to aqueous phase, not miscible with organic phase, using a phase transfer catalyst. Phase-transfer catalyst used is enantiomers chiral molecules. Phase-transfer process is carried out at temperature in range of 0-4 °C.
