FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing coke during indirectly heated gasification. In method coal particles are supplied to a gasification reactor and process gas supplied during gasification is reduced therein to synthesis gas. Synthesis gas is then removed from gasification reactor. Coal coking takes place in inner reactor simultaneously with gasification. Inner reactor is an indirect heating reactor. When producing coke and combustible gases coal goes down through inner reactor, and combustible gases move upward. Combustible gases are used for indirect heating during gasification.
