FIELD: data processing.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to substrate for code adapted to be connected to, or be part of capsule, intended for beverage delivery in drink preparation device by centrifuging capsule. Substrate has code, made by means of at least first sequence of symbols and second sequence of symbols. Code is presented on substrate so that each symbol may be sequentially read by external device reading device, while capsule is rotated about axis of rotation. First sequence contains at least one first sequence of preamble symbols and at least one first sequence of data symbols. Second sequence contains at least one second sequence of preamble symbols and at least one second sequence of data symbols. First preamble differs from second preamble. First and second preambles make it possible to determine which symbols belong to first sequence, and which to second, without any knowledge of angular configuration of code substrate, when it is located in machine for beverage preparation.;EFFECT: due to use of different first and second preambles achieved more reliable determination of said critical information for decoding of code.;25 cl, 11 dwg
