A light selective transmission solar cell having a light filter includes: an electrode portion consisting of an upper electrode and a lower electrode disposed to face the upper electrode; a light absorption layer disposed between the upper electrode and the lower electrode, and including a dye for transmitting light of a certain wavelength of incident sunlight; and a light filter disposed below the lower electrode, and transmitting light of a certain wavelength of the light transmitted through the light absorption layer and reflecting light of a certain wavelength to the light absorption layer. Accordingly, sunlight in a wavelength region appropriate for photosynthesis is selectively used for plant synthesis, and sunlight in other wavelength regions is used for electricity production.
