PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental technical material information application device and a dental technical material information application method which can simplify work and apply information to a dental technical material accurately.SOLUTION: A dental technical material information application device 10 comprises an information application device 100 and a control device 200. The information application device 100 comprises a scanner part 120 for scanning a plate denture D three-dimensionally, an information application part 130 for inscribing information on the plate denture D, and a movable table 140. The control device 200 makes the scanner part 120 perform three-dimensional scan while making the movable table 140 change a scan position of the plate denture D by the scanner part 120. The control device 200 controls the movable table 140 according to an application position selected based on three-dimensional data, changes the application position of information by the information application part 130, and makes it inscribe the information on the plate denture D. Thus, the information can be inscribed on the plate denture D continuously while scanning the plate denture D three-dimensionally.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
