PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive optics retinal imaging apparatus in which high resolution imaging results of confocal scanning and optical coherence tomography imaging can be acquired simultaneously, and thereby high resolution imaging can be achieved furthermore in the three-dimensional direction.SOLUTION: An adaptive optics retinal imaging apparatus comprises light processing means, adaptive optics means, two-dimensional scanning means and first stage aberration correction means. The imaging means included in the light processing means performs imaging based on a signal subjected to higher-order aberration compensation and lower-order aberration compensation. An adaptation optical technique, a confocal scanning imaging technique and an optical coherence tomography imaging technique are combined. Thereby, the wavefront aberration of a detection confocal scanning optical path and an optical coherence tomography imaging optical path is detected by two wavefront sensors, the lower-order aberration and the higher-order aberration of human eyes are corrected by two wavefront correction units respectively, the correction to the lower-order aberration and the higher-order aberration of two optical paths is achieved, and the imaging to the transverse high resolution and the longitudinal high resolution of the human eyes can be achieved simultaneously.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
