PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method of treating a nuclear waste and the other hazardous wastes.SOLUTION: A solid or liquid containing one or both of a radioactive waste and hazardous waste is optionally mixed with a liquid or solid material, thereby producing a high-concentration fluid. The high-concentration fluid is pressure-fed to a tubing string of an injection port. The high-concentration fluid comes out of a feed hole of the injection port housing, enters a crack in a rock layer, and continues to travel downward until arrival at an immobilization point. The high-concentration fluid may be a slurry produced from a polymer gel crosslinked with a metal or a hydration clay suspension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
