ACCESS NUMBER ESTIMATION DEVICE, ACCESS NUMBER ESTIMATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate an access number for each domain name only with a DNS (Domain Name System) query defined as an observation target.SOLUTION: Regarding a name solution request relating to a domain name, if a TTL (Time To Live) of the domain name passes, the TTL is calculated based on a history of an observation number for a predetermined period regarding a DNS query transmitted from each of terminals. To a relational expression of the number of first terminals to access a service relating to the domain name per unit time deviated based on a probability of generating the name solution request from a time of TTL expire just before a first time to the first time, an average access number for each first terminal to the service per unit time and the number of DNS queries per unit time, the numbers of DNS queries at a plurality of time points in a period of one cycle of the TTL are adapted in the history, thereby calculating an estimate of the access number to the service in the predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
