Method for producing microbial materials that improve soil and water pollution, suppress greenhouse gas emissions, and improve plant functionality

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional microbial material which is environmentally friendly and improves the quality of crops and a method for producing fermentation products.SOLUTION: There is provided a microbial material which is obtained by fermenting fermentation raw materials including plant and animal raw materials by the use of a group of microorganisms including two or more organism species of thermophilic microorganisms, and which improves soil and water pollution and contributes to the enhancement of functionalities of plants, especially increases the expression of genes related to biological defense and tolerance to high temperature injury, and increases antioxidative components, while suppressing the greenhouse gas generation. A method for producing fermentation products is also provided. Plant quality is improved by the use of microorganism groups which have an environmental remediation function and an elicitor function to plants, not depending upon genetic recombination. In addition, the natural environmental burden is restored and preserved within the normal production activity.
