PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel illumination lamp which achieves more accurate light distribution control and also in which downsizing and lightening of a lamp housing are promoted, to allow economical production and installation, and further, which realizes efficient inspection and maintenance and achieves significantly high brightness.SOLUTION: An LED light distribution control lens 1 includes: concave-shaped incident double surfaces 10 each having a plane-symmetric curved surface shape capable of dividing and diffusing a light flux emitted by an LED light source surface S into an approximately V shape, at a boundary which is a plane-symmetric virtual mirror surface Y-Z assumed vertically to the optical source surface S; convex-shaped emission double surfaces 11 each having a plane-symmetric curved surface shape capable of dividing and diffusing the light flux L from the light source surface S into an approximately V shape, and also capable of converging each of the V-shaped light fluxes, at a boundary which is the plane-symmetric virtual mirror surface Y-Z; and peripheral convex-shaped emission double surfaces 12 each arranged on a peripheral surface from an outer peripheral edge of the concave-shaped incident double surface 10 to an outer peripheral edge of the convex-shaped emission double surface 11, and having a plane-symmetric curved surface separating from the plane-symmetric virtual mirror surface Y-Z as moving away vertically from the light source surface S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
