PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reuse of a sectional simple container by recovering an edge frame of the container after use and allow retention of the edge frame in a folded state and easy spreading from the folded state in use, easy formation of the edge frame, reduction of costs of a die for formation of the edge frame and weight saving of the edge frame itself.SOLUTION: A sectional simple container includes engagement parts 9 and 10 provided at the centers of the inner surface, the upper edge or the lower edge of one or both of two wider plates 3 and 4, among four rectangular plates 1 to 4 constituting a foldable edge frame 11 of the sectional simple container, and holding parts 12 and 13 for holding the engagement parts provided at positions close to the engagement parts when the edge frame is folded. Notches 14 and 15 for finger hooking may be provided in the upper edge or lower edge of the two wider plates, and/or a convex part 16 may be provided in the upper end part of an inner wall of the edge frame 11.
