PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laughing promotion program and a laughing promotion device for promoting laughing by providing a chance for laughing.SOLUTION: A laughing promotion program regarding one standpoint of this invention: calculates laughing level data based on face image data; carries out determination of whether or not laughing voice data is capable of being reproduced based on the laughing level data; and reproducing the laughing voice data on a computer when determined that the laughing voice data is to be reproduced. Furthermore, the laughing promotion device regarding another standpoint of this invention is the laughing promotion device provided with: an imaging apparatus, a speaker, an information processor for controlling the imaging apparatus and the speaker. The information processor has: a laughing level data calculator for calculating the laughing level data based on the face image data; a laughing determination unit for determining whether or not the laughing data is to be reproduced based on the laughing level data; and a laughing voice reproduction unit for reproducing the laughing voice data when determined that the laughing voice data is to be reproduced.
