PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with a high positive ratio with respect to an ovary clear cell adenomatous cancer that has been lower in a positive ratio concerning the conventionally known tumor marker of an ovarian cancer such as CA 125, and to provide a reagent to be used for the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for inspecting an ovary clear cell adenomatous cancer, where a method for specifically detecting a tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2 (TFPI 2) is combined with a method for specifically detecting the tumor marker of an ovarian cancer. There is provided a reagent for detecting an ovary clear cell adenomatous cancer, which includes a TFPI 2 detection reagent containing an antibody to specifically recognize TFPI 2 and a marker detection reagent containing an antibody to specifically recognize the tumor marker of the ovarian cancer.
