The method includes the step of embedding the set of rules that govern a sales-commission calculation and the set of sales-commission computer-executable algorithms into the sales-commission plan document to generate an executable sales-commission plan document. The method includes the step of storing the executable sales-commission plan document in the computer memory. Optionally, upon completion of a sale, the method can include the step of providing a sale data to a calculation engine of the en mission-plan document designer application. The calculation engine based on the set of sales-commission computer-executable algorithms from the executable sales-commission plan document and automatically calculates a pay-out amount to the sales representative.
