LOCATION-BASED DATA STRUCTURE INFORMATION RETRIEVAL AND MODIFICATION

A system and method for allowing a user to retrieve and update information from a data-structure based on the user's location. The system may be configured to enable users to update a data structure to include establishment information for a particular establishment upon confirmation that the user is updating the data structure form a location that matches a location of the establishment. The system may also process a search from a user and provide the user with a listing of dining establishments that are physically near the user. The user may then select one of the dining establishments returned in the search results to view establishment information for the selected dining establishment retrieved from the data structure. The system may also provide the user with other useful information about the particular dining establishment to enable the user to identify which establishment to visit.
