The method for operating a personal information brokerage apparatus that mediates a transaction between a purchaser terminal device and a seller terminal device, the method including receiving personal information about a purchaser from the purchaser terminal device, classifying and storing the personal information for each purchaser, receiving product selection information related to a desired purchasing product of the purchaser from the purchaser terminal device, determining whether customized personal information required to produce the desired purchasing product is present in the stored personal information, and transmitting the customized personal information and the product selection information to the seller terminal device that sells the desired purchasing product, based on a result of the determination.
