A symmetric hybrid supercapacitor has two internally hybridized electrodes having both faradic and capacitatively active materials. More specifically, the symmetric hybrid supercapacitor has a cathode and an anode. The cathode contains LiMn_xFe_1-xPO₄. The LiMn_xFe_1-xPO₄ is used as electrode material for the hybrid supercapacitor. The condition applies that 0.1x0.9.
