The present invention relates to an integrated route for reducing the content of the phosphorus element contained in the iron ore where it is inserted in the ore treatment sector heating and cooling process of the particles using microwave energy being combined. to the leaching process using 0.2 molar sulfuric acid as a leaching agent. The heating rate of the ore particles is around 100 ° C per minute reaching 7000c in 7 minutes. The cooling rate of the particles is around 100 ° C per second where fractures are generated facilitating the leaching process using 0.2m sulfuric acid. In this route, it would be possible to reduce by 50% the content of phosphorus contained in iron ore in time compatible with continuous process.
