The invention also relates to the catalyst obtained by said method. the use of said catalyst in a pemfc cathode combines the advantages resulting from pure core / shell ptxmy nanostructures, the nanostructures (i.e., which offer higher orr activity than that of pure pt and good stability) and those that result from a slit ptxmy layer (ie reduced h2o2 production).
